The article offers views on the definition and distribution of indicators of technical equipment of the defense forces of Ukraine by functional groups and levels.
Options for analysis and scientific research of indicators of technical equipment of the defense forces are presented and principles and methods of their distribution by functional groups of effectiveness and efficiency are proposed.
The main set of indicators groups is considered, such as: Operational; Technical; Economic; Infrastructure; Personnel; Social and others.
A new approach has been applied to the scientific substantiation of the selection of the list of indicators of technical equipment of the defense forces of Ukraine, taking into account the experience of waging war between Ukraine and russian federation and the defense and technical support of the defense forces in the context of legal, resource, political restrictions and new forms and methods of foreign policy relations and interaction with the countries of the world.
The structure of the model, its main key roles of performers and stakeholders in the system for determining the indicators of technical equipment of the defense forces of Ukraine are defined. The directions of further development of conceptual documents and systemic transformations of the formation and implementation of tasks to achieve the effectiveness and efficiency of certain indicators of technical equipment of the defense forces of Ukraine are outlined.
