Abstract

In the article on the basis of the conducted research, the importance and relevance of the problem of processing cognitive information about information about samples of weapons and military equipment, which are supplied to the components of the Security and Defense Sector of Ukraine, are determined. On the basis of cognitive information technology, the basic principles of creating an interactive knowledge base for monitoring the accounting and condition of samples of weapons and military equipment of foreign countries have been defined. Monitoring the accounting and state of samples of OVT is an effective tool for managing the processes of exploitation and development of weapons and military equipment, especially necessary when planning the use of military formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. During the examination of the object of research, the used conceptual apparatus was clarified, the features of preparation and processing of input data were determined, the main features of the consolidation of information processes during monitoring and the architecture of the construction of special software were considered. In the interactive knowledge base, as a special kind of system created for knowledge (metadata) management, it is assumed that the assessment of the condition of samples of foreign military equipment must be carried out at each period of the life cycle, which in the conditions of a state of war differs significantly due to the direct combat use of samples of military equipment and the existence probabilities of their losses. For the formation of interactive documents during monitoring, input consolidated information is used, which enters the interactive knowledge base in the format of system-integrated various information resources of OVT samples, the narratives of which are endowed with signs of credibility, completeness, integrity and partial non-contradiction. The creation of an interactive knowledge base for monitoring samples of weapons and military equipment is proposed to be based on the cognitive information technology of KIT Polyhedron.
