METHODOLOGY FOR OPTIMIZING THE PARAMETERS OF THE «CONTAINER-MISSILE» SUBSYSTEM

Abstract

In the previous publications authors showed the necessity of using the vertical gas-dynamic method of launch of anti-ship missiles with the forced declination of the missile on the trajectory of the required movement, which imposes specific restrictions due to the level of thrust-to-weight ratio of the missile, the requirements to firing of targets on the near border of destruction, the increased requirements to reliability of missiles during long-term storage and operation in the field conditions.

Application of vertical gas-dynamic container launch of anti-ship missiles of coastal missile systems causes the necessity to solve the issues of optimal choice of parameters of the subsystem «container-missile». The article shows that to solve the complex nonlinear problem of selection of rational parameters of the subsystem «container-missile» it is advisable to use the developed universal optimizer, the iteration procedure of which is based on the application of standard linear programming programs.

The presented methodology can be used at the initial stages of development of launchers of the Vertical Launch Missile Complex in order to solve the issues of choosing the optimal design of the «container-missile» subsystem and launchers in general.
