Abstract

The following trends are considered in the article. In the era of maneuvers of combat with the widespread use of high-precision weapons, topogeodesic (TGP) providing operations (combat) of troops (forces) is attached to the importance, which in turn consists of a set of tasks of scientific, technical, production and organizational nature aimed at creating, updating and timely reporting to the command and control bodies of topogeodesic information (TGI) for the purpose of studying and evaluating the terrain in decision-making, planning and conducting operations (combat operations), organization of interaction and control, as well as the effective use of weapons and military equipment. As a result of studying of modern and perspective complexes, facilities and techniques of geoinformation and topogeodesic support, analysis of the given characteristics it is possible to conclude that the development of appropriate means is aimed at: reducing the number of units of equipment, completeness of samples with modern equipment, devices; use of GIS technologies; integration of tasks performed (topo-geodetic - navigation and mapping support). Creation of modern facilities of geospatial intelligence and topogeodetic complexes is a promising direction of providing troops because it provides an opportunity for dynamic support to commanders in planning and conducting modern strategic and operational-tactical operations (combat operations). In creating these complexes, in is advisable to implement such advanced technologies: satellite navigation; GIS technologies; remote sensing of earth from space; geoinformation modeling in real time; high-speed transmission of large arrays of protected data; strapdown inertial navigation systems. These technologies integrate; expand the existing capabilities of topo-geodetic support on the battlefield. These technologies combine, extend the existing capabilities of topogeodesic support on the battlefield.
