In part 1 of the article, an analysis of russia’s chemical weapons arsenal was carried out using data from open sources and an assessment of the scope and consequences of their use in the military conflict was carried out, in part 2 of the article, an analysis of russia’s biological weapons arsenal was also carried out using data from open sources and an assessment of the scope and consequences was carried out their use in military conflict. The full-scale invasion of russia on the territory of Ukraine forced the leadership of most countries of the world not only to recognize the reality and seriousness of the threat of using weapons of mass destruction, the danger of chemical, biological, radiation, nuclear contamination due to the destruction of potentially dangerous objects, but also to take concrete steps in the direction of countering these challenges national security.
