We claim that regarding electronic warfare systems there exists the problem of simultaneous providing large bandwidth, required directivity, quality of spatial signal filtering in interference background and resolution in angular coordinates. It is shown that solving this problem in conditions when computational resources are constrained is possible on the basis of exploiting antenna arrays in the form of Mills cross with Vivaldi elements and digital signal processing, at the same time providing respectively small weight and overall dimensions of antenna system. We develop the field pattern model of planar antenna array in the form of Mills cross that allow substantiating main technical requirements for both receiving and transmitting antenna systems of perspective electronic warfare systems operating against on-board radars of air assault means. We develop the simulation model of spatial signal filtering under interference influence for planar antenna array in the form of Mills cross with electronic control of antenna pattern and digital signal processing, allowing us determining characteristics of signal processing under interference conditions.
