Abstract

The problems arising in the design of helmet-mounted display systems intended for the Ground Forces are considered: perception by the vehicle operator of a collimated image in a confined space; rational choice of imaging device; calculation methods for the selected optical scheme; layout of the indicator on the protective helmet / operator's head. A promising helmet-mounted display system should be designed separately for each type of protective helmet in order to take into account the peculiarities of its operation. In the design process, it is advisable to focus on standard format OLED displays. The perception of a collimated image in a confined space must be verified experimentally. It is also advisable to study the influence of external factors on a holographic optical element based on gelatin dichromate
