Abstract

The article describes the methodology for estimating the informativity of radiation parameters of onboard radar stations (BRLS) when using them as signaling signs for the recognition of aircraft (LA) by means of radioelectronic observation. The method is based on the method of simulation statistical modeling and to evaluate the informativity of the radar radiation parameters by the magnitude of the increase in the probability of correct recognition of the LA with the sequential addition of the features included in the a priori vocabulary. The a priori vocabulary of the signal signs of the aircraft, which consists of 12 frequency-time parameters, is determined by the modes of operation of transmitting devices and methods of space review by antenna systems of the radar system. The results of estimating the informative nature of the signal characteristics included in the a priori vocabulary are given, depending on the errors of their measurement and the type of the used recognition algorithm.
