A modern approach to the problem of improving the maintainability of weapons and military equipment (IWT) is considered as one of the ways to increase the effectiveness of the functioning of IWT in conditions of combat training of troops. The modern approach to the problem of maintainability of weapons and military equipment is defined and the tasks for its solution in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are clarified based on an analysis of the problem solution in the United States and the main NATO member countries.
