PRIVACY POLICY
General Provisions
- This Policy defines the procedure for the collection, use, and protection of the personal data of authors, reviewers, and readers who interact with the scientific journal's website.
- The Editorial Board of the journal undertakes to maintain confidentiality and ensure information security in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine on the protection of personal data and international standards of publication ethics.
Collection and Use of Personal Data
- During registration or manuscript submission, the Editorial Board collects the following data: last name, first name, and patronymic; academic degree and title; place of work and position; country; contact phone number; email address; and research profiles (ORCID ID, Scopus Author ID, etc.).
- This data is used exclusively for:
- Facilitating the manuscript review and editing process.
- Displaying author information in the metadata of published articles.
- Communicating with participants in the publication process regarding manuscript status or journal news.
Confidentiality of Manuscripts
- Any manuscripts submitted to the editorial office are treated as confidential documents.
- Editors and reviewers do not have the right to disclose information about submitted materials or use unpublished data for their own purposes until their official publication.
- Information about reviewers (in a double-blind review system) is not subject to disclosure to authors or third parties to ensure the impartiality of the evaluation.
Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
- Personal data of authors (Full Name, affiliation, ORCID) becomes public upon the release of the article as part of its front matter on the journal's website and in scientometric databases (Web of Science, Scopus, etc.).
- The Editorial Board does not transfer contact data (email, phone) to third parties without the written consent of the data subject, except in cases provided for by the legislation of Ukraine.
Data Protection and Storage
- The journal's website operates using the secure HTTPS protocol and a valid SSL/TLS certificate to protect data during transmission.
- Personal data is stored in the journal's information system for the period necessary to ensure the archiving and monitoring of scientific results.
User Rights
- Authors and reviewers have the right to access their personal data, correct it, or delete it (unless this contradicts the requirements for archiving scientific publications).
