Abstract

The article covers the problem of modeling of processes related to testing activities. The purpose of the modeling is to fi nd methods and algorithms for optimal planning and test management, as well as the possible automation of manual work during the stages of test planning, their maintenance and processing of results. The basis for research is the apparatus of analytical modeling of queuing systems the requirement for a test sample of weapons and military equipment is submitted by the application, and the testing organization is a service device. When conducting research using queuing systems, an important issue is to adequately describe the parameters of the input fl ow of service requirements, to which this work is dedicated. The question of statistical analysis of parameters of the input fl ow of requirements for carrying out tests of arms and military equipment, which come to the State scientifi c research institute of armament and military equipment testing and certifi cation, is considered. The statistical basis of the analysis is the total set of test requirements for the last three full years, which in terms of quantity has the property of ability. Using statistical methods of analysis, the main parameters of the input fl ow, namely the intensity of the fl ow of input requirements, the central, second and third moments, the coeffi cient of variation of the intervals between the requirements of the input fl ow were obtained. The hypothesis previously made about the Poisson character of the law of distribution of the fl ow of input requirements for testing was confi rmed. The approach to differentiation of input fl ow by priority of input requirements and groups of arms and military equipment in accordance with the classifi cation adopted by the testing organization is proposed. The basic statistical characteristics for sub-fl ows of groups of weapons and military equipment are obtained. According to available signs, the character of the Poisson law of distribution of input requirements is also inherent for the vast majority of sub-fl ow. The parameters of the input fl ow of test requirements, resulting from the research, in the future, will allow to carry out processes analytical and simulation modeling in the test organization, to predict the main performance indicators, to explore and apply optimization methods in the automation of test planning and management.
