Abstract

The article substantiates the possibility of integrating elements of fi ber optics into the textile materials of military equipment of combat personnel and their modifi cation under the function of registration of external aiming optical beams. The technical essence of hazard warning systems is that the elements of clothing and protective ammunition of the serviceman are attached (or implanted in them) to the sensitive elements of fi ber-optic light-beam receivers, which are emitted in their direction by the target means of the enemy and to which these receptors are attached. The task is to investigate the possibility of creating a system of warning of the danger of fi re damage based on the special properties of elements of fi ber optics, capable of transmitting rays in the optical range of electromagnetic radiation. The paper provides a description of the original technical development of the signaling tool, equipped with the fi ber-optic elements of a new type that allows forming a stable system of warning signals out of the small arms optical radiation or panoramic inspection of the enemy. Conducting fi eld tests in order to adapt the developed scheme to solve the task in real conditions of warfare to identify the source of danger were performed using a quantum radiator such as a rangefi nder artillery reconnaissance, lens kit and fi lters. Textile materials for clothing and equipment with fi beroptic systems can be obtained in the traditional way of textile production with the use of special polymer fi laments. Complex experimental tests of the developed design solutionof electronic circuit detection and notifi cation of danger allow gaining experience of designing and introducing into the production of complete sets equipment.
