Abstract

Analysis of the literature, recent studies and publications on improving the system of information on the area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and its comparison with similar systems forces most developed countries indicates that modern principles of systems providing surveying the Armed Forces of Ukraine are implemented ineffi ciently. Today it is evident that further enhance the combat capabilities of troops impossible without fi nding new ways to provide military units about the area. Obviously, the search of ways to provide quality information on the terrain of the Armed Forces of Ukraine should be preceded by a deep analysis of the system to ensure surveying forces most developed countries the experience of military confl icts in recent years. Based on the analysis considered separate issues effi ciency of the system of special maps and photographs of the area in the leading countries in the fi eld of local information and solutions. In Article thorough analysis of experience of providing information about the area forces the leading countries in armed confl icts of recent years and the main directions for changing priorities in surveying system of the Armed Forces. The above will form the basis for further research on improving the system of special maps and photographs of the area in the Armed Forces of Ukraine operations.
