The article examines the use of sea-based and land-based missile weapons by the russian federation in the war against Ukraine in the period from February 24 to March 25, 2022, the intensity of the use of certain types of sea-based missiles, the potential capabilities of sea-based and land-based cruise missile carriers of the Russian Navy (Northern, Pacific, Baltic, Black Sea Fleets and Caspian Flotilla). The types of missiles, sea-based and shore-based, used against Ukraine, the number of launchers for each sample separately, the number of launchers by type of carriers, the number of missiles for each fleet separately, the total number of missiles for the Russian Navy, the group of the Russian Navy that participated are specified in launching missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine and the approximate number of missiles of this group, taking into account military, operational and strategic reserves (the Center's reserves).
The purpose of the article is a quantitative analysis of the ship-based and shore-based missile carriers of the entire composition of the Navy of the Armed Forces of the russian federation, taking into account the military, operational and reserves of the Center, and an approximate calculation of the number of missiles that were used and can be used in the created group to launch missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine.
As a result of the study, it was found that with such an intensity of use of sea and shore-based cruise missiles by the enemy group, the stocks of these missiles will be enough for approximately 75−80 days of war until July 15−20.
Replenishment of military and operational stocks of ship- and shore-based missiles is possible at the expense of the reserves of the Grouping Center, replenishment of the reserves of the Grouping Center is possible at the expense of operational stocks of the Pacific, Northern and Baltic fleets, but unlikely. Most likely, the replenishment of the stocks of the specified group will be carried out at the expense of enterprises − manufacturers of ship- and shore-based missiles of the russian defense-industrial complex.
