Abstract

The principles of construction of multistage macrocell pulsed induction accelerators are considered in the form of a discrete sequence of single-stage accelerators having either a multi-turn coil similar to an inductor coil or a solid short-circuited ring on the body being tossed. The features of these principles and characteristics of accelerator work processes are analyzed. In the 1st part of the work, the results of simulation of accelerators on a computer and examples of the implementation of laboratory models of induction-type accelerators are given.
